I’m Michelle Lemoi , CEO & Founder Of Elevate - Women In Construction (WIC), LLC. I created EWIC in 2020/2021 after I was faced with getting let go at a job I thought was my forever home. With no network, having worked long days and many hours, and failing to be recognized for my value and contributions, I felt exhausted, scared, isolated, and discouraged.
After numerous conversations with other women In the industry and the work I did over six months to find a new job and network, I realized that no longer could I define myself by my role or job title, I needed to stand in my power, stop trying to fit into the industry construct, and get off being on autopilot and those masculine energies of doing, pushing striving. I knew I wasn't alone - there were other women feeling the same way!
Initially created as a community for women to receive personal and professional development, I have redirected my mission to speaking and providing workshops, bringing awareness to the industry, teaching topics that are important now, and creating safe spaces for women in organizations to connect, talk about the issues they face, and walk away with real strategies they can implement immediately.

The Purpose And Goal Is To Elevate Women In The Construction Industry To Be Seen And Heard And Feel Valued, Loved, And Supported In Both Their Professional And Personal Lives.
This Is Achieved Through Community, Education, Opportunity, Collaboration, And In Service To The Women In This Dynamic And Growing Industry.
Shared Experience
As a woman in the construction industry for the past 30 years, I know first hand what it’s like to always be trying to prove myself and fit into my environment and the constructs of expectations. In the process, I found myself giving away my power, running on autopilot, and feeling burnt out and frustrated to the point I almost walked away from the work and the industry I love!
From owning my own steel erecting company to being the driving force behind growing other companies, the last 30 years have been incredible! Along my journey, I have learned to lean into my feminine essence, stop proving myself, and carve out my own individual path in the industry so that I can live a life of peace, inner truth, joy, balance, and success!
